We often use sum or auto sum function to figure out total amount. But total doesn’t show the subtotal amount in excel. Subtotal is the very important function of office work or business work. If you are going to calculate multiple peoples score then you are going to need subtotal function otherwise it calculates wrong.

So let’s go learn how to use subtotal in excel sheet. It is very simple, like sum function. Keep your mouse pointer in the right cell in excels and type the below formula in that cell.

=SUBTOTAL(9,C2:C108)

Here 9 for sum and C2 for count start and C108 for count end. You have to select the column that you have chosen for subtotal. Do the same for all columns.If you complete the process then short the name of the performer/worker/student and see what happen. It will show you specify performance for all workers.
